The e-learnings are a series of small lessons on individual topics with hands-on exercises, so yes, like the BC/TAW courses. We use group projects that span multiple days afterwards where the techniques can be used in combination and you have some freedom in your solution. For us this works great!

This will probably switch at some point with classic ABAP being taught after the modern stuff but not yet with customers still migrating to S/4 and having build lots of things in <=7.50.

For trainees we have a full time program with mixed on-site / remote trainings and e-learnings and small projects for 4 months total. 1 month classic ABAP (SE80, procedural + objects), and another 2 months modern / advanced ABAP (ADT, CDS, RAP) and UI5 + some BTP. This is in a consulting company.

Time for pen and paper and doing everything perfectly at the first try ;)

The hierarchical check could still work just fine if all the inactive objects were checked for consistency instead of each object individually and then activation in bulk. Maybe that's too much to ask.
