Das müsste ja nichtmal ein Scheinprozess sein; es würde wohl jeder Angeklagte lieber in einem Kleinstaat ohne Macht verurteilt sein als in Europe zur Fahndung…

Eine Grundsatzfrage hierzu: wenn die Zuständigkeit des Gerichts auf einer Staatlichkeit Palästinas beruht, warum ist dann immerzu die Rede von der israelischen Justiz und welche Untersuchungen diese führt? Müsste es da nicht um die palästinensische Justiz gehen?

I don’t think “at least trying to look good” is a significantly different from what brought about this crisis in the first place.

I’m afraid you are kidding yourself if you think this will change anything. When the proposal is predictably turned down by Hamas, everything will proceed as before. Israel will still be blamed for all civilian dead.
