Yeah man, I used to knock on doors to support campaigns. I was threatened with gun violence the last time I did this. One MAGA dude chased my friend and me down and nearly ran us over with his pickup.

Very fair point, again! His policies are trash. I’m not a diehard progressive (sorry Bluesky). I’m in clinical research where drug dev programs have come to a halt because scientific research is seen as so 2024. And the tariff wars are not making America great again. So, he’s an arse AND an idiot.

Fair point. I mean, most Americans get their news from X, so, confirmation bias is real. Still, Democrats need to be smarter about the words they choose. I’m also surprised I don’t see a lot of taco Tuesday taunting. There is so much material they could be using.

But, this is why messaging matters. We’re talking about mimicking Sweden, not fascism (which is what we’re getting under the current regime with government control of everything). Democrats have to be smarter about their choice of words. We should know by now that American people don’t get nuance.

Shit. I agree. That’s what Carville suggested. Give them enough rope and let them hang themselves, then swoop in during the mid-terms are restore normalcy. They just cannot get it together. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

I hear you! I normally need to see it all. Now, I just can’t look (plus I’m fighting flu). How bad was it? James Carville said the best thing dems can do is sit back & watch Trump F everything up, then swoop in like vultures to clean house. Maybe he’s right because we don’t have a winning message.
