There are many of us that knew the story before it started. Wake up? I can barely sleep.

My family came here on the Mayflower. That was a form or resistance. I don't consider it a badge of honor because they most likely persecuted the native population. The ancestors in the United States all had experience with resistance and persecution.

I think there is room for both. We are many with one cause.

Many of us are wearing them when we march. It is a way to connect to others who are also joining. I am not judging the fact that you don't want to join in knitting or making symbols. Do what you think is important. Stop judging and celebrate the fact that people are aware. Thank you for your time.

Wearing them WHEN we protest. Wearing them as solidarity. Wearing them for awareness. Tired of people telling me what is helpful and what isn't helpful. It is all helpful if it is action and brings connection.

That is too easy. People need to care, pay attention. Our country is more worried about acquiring the latest cell phone, the best car and the right outfit. We waste time on too many things that do not matter. That is how we came to this place.
