Love Materialize, getting a lot of mileage out of it.
Have you looked into Parallax depth shaders, not native to URP I believe, but there are some options out there, only limitation is that it doesn't change the silhouette of the object.

From what I understand in the article, they simply have no need for as much staff to support the game post-launch. And as they don't get put on a new project within Funcom, they are formally laid off and maybe get work in other projects within Tencent. Hopefully without having to move far away.

Looks like the SSAO doesn't bleed outside of the view frostum enough. Very good to see examples of what the engine can do in terms of open environments.

Sometimes I think about adding a display to my bike for navi and other bits, then I remember how much I prefer getting slightly lost over knowing exactly where I am, so I leave it at that. + navigating by signs and road numbers is a fun extra activity.

As long as you make it yourself, it is very hard to not end up with a fairly original result.

VRChat has the same issue. I find that many get frustrated working with Blender/Unity to get some small avatar change made.

The districts east of Mjøsa are rather bland compared to this I'd say. But yes, absolutely blessed with the density of great vistas here.
