I have a rotation of reliable publications and journalists I trust to get at least the facts straight, spin obviously considered.
If I read something from an unknown source I usually look up the information to make sure. If it's weird, I look up the author. If it's weirder, I look up the platform.

OLI, but it seems like there has been a lot more anti-communism propaganda than anti-Nazi propaganda. Like it's so ingrained into American culture to hate communism while racism/fascist tendencies never really went away. The whole US superiority complex probably played its part, too.
