Tasmorei realized too late that, though former demon she might be, she was way in over her head. The most vicious among the infernal host were known as 'heroslayers', and it was a sobriquet well earned.

She wears metal armor covering most of her humanoid body, waist, and back. Surrounding her is an enormous demonic warrior whose body is long, armored, and segmented, as if a hideous worm or arthropod. Emerging from their gaping mandibles like some sort of monstrous tongue is the upper body of a humanoid in the appearance of a woman with dark brown hair, glowing eyes, and otherwise fair countenance. Tasmorei appears badly wounded. In her right hand she holds the hilt of a shattered sword. One of her tentacles is severed, and she paws ineffectually at her foe with the others. She glares up at the demon, who has positioned their humanoid 'body' above her and is mockingly caressing her chin while smirking at her. The monster part of the demon, though, holds Tasmorei's right arm firmly in the grip of one of its large burly arms.

Many space pirates waste their loot on frivolities; he chose augmentation. He now ventures into unknown space, making enemies everywhere, confident that he can overcome whatever horrors the galaxy has to offer.

Anrü surveyed the ancient, sacred forests of Rushédak, forests he had known and loved growing up, and wondered if he would ever be worthy of being their guardian.

When his quest was finished and the galaxy saved, noble Eslenitrài returned at long last to the world of his birth, building a wondrous garden whose foliage represented the myriad places he had visited.

I got this excellent commission of my character Anrü from @granolafossil.bsky.social a while ago! Very happy with it.

The so-called 'friendbeasts' roam across both continents of Rushédak, migrating twice a year in vast numbers. The nomadic herders among the wolf-people run alongside them, taking their milk, fur, and meat.
A reference sheet depicting a fictional animal, the so-called migratory 'friendbeast' of great cultural and economic importance to the kajtlemta wolf-people. The creature is a large ungulate quadruped with aspects of aurochs, elk, and prehistoric megafauna. It has a large bulky head with a cow-like nose and small tusks, a massive robust body covered with shaggy fur, a small deer-like tail, and cloven hooves. Its head is crowned with a crest of antlers joined by bone or membrane. It is dun and dark brown in color, with white stripes along its flank and red highlights on its antler crest. The sheet itself contains the following depictions of the creature: a fullbody of an adult male, a detail view of the adult male's head, a fullbody and detail view of an adult female (with a less robust body and smaller head crest), a fullbody of a baby, and a depiction of a male and two females in full gallop as a gray-furred wolf runs alongside them, trying to herd them.

The dracofolk civilizations are much diminished from their age of glory, but there are those who still consider themselves treaty-bound to wage war against tyranny and injustice.

The kajtlemta are a naturally exuberant people. Most outsiders have a hard time telling whether the wolf-person running towards them wants to hug them or to rip their throat out.

Merfolk hunters make a living traveling from ocean to ocean, hunting down and slaying aquatic monstrosities too formidable for the local rangers. It is lonely work, and many eventually opt to become adventurers.

Google is hot garbage now. Even giving a straightforward answer to a math problem is beyond its abilities. (Sorry, at my job we use weird numbers that keep on going past 9 all the way to 'f'. I don't make the rules.)

The heroslayers are terrifying demons, for aside from their great strength their blood sorcery makes them impervious to most mortal weapons. Some are worshipped by cultists as deities of war.
