I like this one too. Something spooked the crows in the field and they all took flight at once. Heron checked them out but stayed put. Not easily ruffled!

Beautiful work. I am doing this too, but in Earth colourway. Glad to finally be on the part where we crochet all the way round.

Loads have already said Aveline Jones so will go for Thirteen Chairs by Dave Shelton, Shadowsmith by Ross MacKenzie and the Bigwoof Sticky Pines series by Dashe Roberts. The last ones are Scooby Dooish, so you should be ok. Also Christmas Dinner of Souls by Ross Montgomery (seasonal mix up by me 😂).

A couple of others have said exactly the same thing Stephen. It has moved to near the top of my tbr pile already as I love her writing.
