Preferred the lightness and coordinated controls of the Supermarine and far easier to fly curved based to finals for carrier approaches than the F4U. Hated its tendency to skid or drop a wing on carrier approaches. Cannon and rockets preferable to 6 50s too but he rarely discussed combat. Dad 2fl
