What if a furry made Deathconciousness and made it gay?
Here is your answer - dealing with themes of identity and existential dread its something that I keep finding myself return to and enjoy more and more on each listen - one of my favorite albums of all time. Easily.

Think Warren Zevon mixed with the instrumentals of Frank Zappa and you have this holy classic prog rock banger in 2024. Something that if it came out in the 70s would be considered one of the best albums of all time, for sure.

Synth pop at its finest and one of the best pop albums of the decade. So catchy, so fun, so upbeat and something that I keep returning to.

While not the best album in terms of anything really, fuck me did I enjoy it. The sound I've been listening to all year put back to back to back and constantly reminding me of the good times I've had this year - worth a listen if you want something dancy.

Sound of the summer, instand classic album, internet phenomenon. Not much I can say about this album that hasn't already been said but fuck its fun, and it will clearly have a lasting effect on how music is seen on the internet in the future.

I've never been particularly big on Vampire Weekend, always seeing them as one of the many shit indie bands from the naughties that didn't really stand out. This project shows their talent in both the instrumentation and their wide and varied influeces.

You don't get albums like this come from bands like The Cure nowadays/ After its announcement at a pub that I have chundered in many times I didn't have high hopes but its something that fits in with Disintergration and Pornography in their excellent discography.

One of the most accessable Xiu Xiu albums to date and something that is mixes there terrifying atmospheres and soundscapes with almost a friendly and comforting tone - worth a listen if you're into something noisy.

Glorious glam pop-rock from a band that has recieved so much shit in the last 2 years (some deserved, most not) online.
Its very fun, and oh so very gay but just amazing at the same time - not perfect mind but the only way is up for TLDP

I'm not too shocked tbh but I feel having Late of the Pier in the top 5 indicates I have an issue given they only released 1 album and half an ep
