While I was slouching away on vacation, our team put together one of the more honest AMAs I have ever seen with developer Tomas Sala (Falconeer, Bulwark: Falconeer Chronicles). It's worth a read!

A few people in my circle use Square Home (me included). It has a Windows Phone feel and is not limiting in any way that I have found to be detrimental. Customization is easy, and it is well supported.
I can't go back to the default UI, and I have tried.

My friends and I used to stay up late nights passing the controller playing a SNES business sim about managing an airline (Aerobiz) - and those are some of my fondest memories. Cheers to the Koei business series for introducing this gamer to the realm of strategy games.
