Basically it's just a poisoned well and a complete technological dead end that needs to be paraded through the streets as an utter failure and embarrassment to the people who believe in it, since they obviously don't give a shit about the ethical issues surrounding it

It's not an issue with tuning, it's an issue with the underlying technology itself. Because of the way it's designed, it won't really improve much from here. My primary issue with the tech is that it literally doesn't work; that's not something you can fix with ethically sourced training data.

I'm fine with calling it a bad tool. I just don't think of something as a tool if it doesn't have a clear intended function and frequently fails to operate the way it did last time you used it. It's like a screwdriver that's just a hex key on some days but with a small chance that it's a secretary

It sucks specifically because of what I described tho. Like it still has exactly those problems even if you retrain a new model without using any stolen materials and if you were able to run it without insane energy consumption issues. Bottom line is you can't expose parameters or replicate output
