Got a steam deck 3 weeks ago and used your website to find non-PS4/5 metroidvanias to play through.
What a godsend that was, had a lot of fun with Guns of Fury and Super Roboy, got Dragon Loop lined up too.
Can't wait to see what I find there for 2026, cheers

Hmm you're right about the camera lag, it's not the Proton version, it seems to be some kind of leak.
The game runs very smooth and eventually it becomes slower. Thankfully quitting out isn't too bad with how the game works.

EU here but I was recommended an US only product that seems to do exactly what you're asking for. It's quite expensive unfortunately, but an idea to consider.

I played both Alwas games after Teslagrad 1 so I caught the reference, it's quite delightful when indie studios do that with each other (didn't know the underlying reason though, that's neat)

I saw this new UI option in a video yesterday and my first though was "maybe it's AI or not legit?" because I couldn't believe my eyes that Nintendo decided to do the tiniest amount of UX. I love this game but not having this feature sucked hard

To bulk download chat+video, which in the future would allow you to re-encode the chat into the video (included feature). I've done some archival of Twitch VODs with it, make sure to download chat as JSON/HTML and to render the emotes (checkbox)

I quite liked the game, 25h in 3 days. MMO ARPG is an excellent summation of it, I'm just standing around waiting on material respawn timers now 😅
Too bad a bunch of trophies are bugged and collection tracking is also borked. Reminds me of Curse of the Sea Rats at launch

I quite liked the game, 25h in 3 days. MMO ARPG is an excellent summation of it, I'm just standing around waiting on material respawn timers now 😅

I've been using your tier list and year breakdowns to choose my next metroidvania since I'm trying to play most of them. The new release date feature was a godsend, really helpful to find ones released 1 to 2 years before to get that full DLC experience since a lot of them release post-1.0 content

It was one of my first metroidvanias that set me on a metroidvania-first type of player. It's just like you said, the combat was really technical with 4 characters that played super differently. Platforming was fun enough but combat / boss encounters was the major draw imo
