Ezreal doesn’t know what he’s doing here tonight at this release party. Well he does. It’s the release party for True Damage’s new album, and he’s here to support Ekko. There’s not really anyone else he knows, so mingling is difficult and Ezreal stands awkwardly in a corner. +

“Darling, hold still or you’ll burn,” Ezreal chides, attempting to slather sunscreen all over Kayn’s back.

Kayn grumbles but complies, eager to run off into the sand. However, his husband’s word is final, and he sits like the good boy he is until Ezreal is satisfied.

“Heartsteel’s Ezreal and Kayn spotted with matching bracelets,” Kayn, sitting on the kitchen counter stool, reads aloud the headline of the article on his phone.

“Congratulations on the win today, and um, these are some gifts I brought for you,” Kayn rushes through his words, practically spilling everything in his arms onto the table.

“I've never been on a date before,” Ezreal confesses. “I've never dated anyone at all.” He sneaks a glance at Kayn sitting next to him, leaning back against the booth, ever the picture of nonchalance.

Ezreal can hardly remember the feeling of Kayn’s skin under his own with the last time being over months last. The words he’s written down in his journal hardly hold a candle to the real thing, but he reads them repeatedly, in hopes of recreating the sensation.

“You’ve been quiet all night,” Ezreal muses. Kayn’s gazes flickers from his drink to the Piltovian and then back. “C’mon, I think I’ve earned a little opening up from you.” The assassin rolls his eyes, sipping on his cup.
