I don't know about the other Monster Hunter games but it doesn't feel like the other games have something similar, it feels soecific to Rise and part of its unique identity 🙂

Yeah, particularly with PS4, PS5 and Xbox having a physical version. Weird from them to exclude Switch, Koei Tecmo always has physicals in Europe for the Atelier games

The series got a strong growth on the Switch and now it's a beloved series for many but we can do better and convince even more people to give the series a try!

The wirebug is so great, it's wild (no pun intended) that they didn't put it again in Wilds ^^

I played the game entirely in handheld and it runs perfectly well, it was so well optimized that it felt like a Nintendo game ^^
As for Capcom yes it's a Japanese team and from I understand they were focused on the 3DS games before while World/Wilds have a different team

The team that worked on Rise was mostly focused on handheld development and was targeting Japanese handheld players so they naturally put a lot of effort into portable mode 🙂
Even knowing this the result is impressive, checked the PS5 version on Youtube and visually you barely see the difference 😀

That's basically the story of the Xenoblade series aha, being increasingly popular over the time thanks to a dedicated fanbase ^_^ I myself convinced dozens of people to give the series a chance since 2017 :)

I'm glad to read this, it's such a fantastic IP and it really deserves to be even more popular. Its popular strongly increased since 2017 but I'm sure we can do even better :)
