Depending on your tv you may run into issues with the size of the hard drive. I have a 16gb thumb drive that works fine on my tv, but my 4tb drive doesn't even though it's the same format.

I have a pixel. If the setting menu is the same, go to Display and Touch and it's at the bottom.
