Holy fucking hell that is too cold for my Florida born self goddamn

Just visiting family across various parts of Michigan sucks to me during winter and I haven't been in negative weather since... Ever maybe

They will have people breaking down.

Everything I've heard indicates to me you're spot on.

Academics is a place of ego and with that comes the nonsensical feuds over theories or ideas

Anything else can be worked upon with basic guidance but in my mind all review should focus upon and emphasize the aspects which are most profound. The most impactful. Whether it's words or pictures or song or what have you. Encouragement goes far, far further than being torn to pieces

At some point I noticed how devastating, negative and mean ways people treat peer review. a teardown of something which doesn't live up to unseen standards. That's not helpful, that's discouraging

focus upon the positive. praise and point out specific things which worked best.

The only issue might be neighbors (not on the property) if you're in farmlands but carefully choosing location will help with that immensely.

I've spent time exploring this idea lol

A massive pole barn can be turned into a comfortable living space with only a few additional changes and depending upon locale again the weather might allow for milder conditions so less has to be spent to keep them comfy

The biggest issue is the startup cost so you'd need to have a very strict budget and game plan. The property will be relatively cheaper but state and location will always matter along with the necessary investments to get the initial living space built. Hopefully there's well water, definitely solar

Much can be done in a place like that. There's enough space to do projects that are unfeasible in suburb or city areas and the feeling of being spied upon constantly is lessened

A few acres with my closest people where we farm; work, build and repair things; host art fairs and celebrations

It requires investment but I've given it thought;
property in rural areas tends to be cheap and removed enough to have privacy. A few acres to develop and farm upon along with a plan to build homes for individuals but starting with a very, very large communal house that becomes the commune hall
