Just recently remembered that the flag of Superman’s home planet Krypton that appeared in Silver Age stories looks a lot like the flag of Oz from the Oz book series.
A flag with a blue and green circle at its center resembling an Earth-like planet. Pointing out from the circle are ten stripes of green, red, pink, orange, blue, yellow, purple and white. Three of the stripes are green, two a yellowish green and one a more saturated green. Just thinking about how FLCL / Fooly Cooly and The Adventures of Pete & Pete are both surreal coming of age stories with rock soundtracks provided by a single band.

This has nothing to do with Pritchard’s resumé as an individual. The message here is that as a woman, Pritchard is ideologically opposed to the interests of men, as well as all common sense and reason (to the extent those things are separate from the interests of men). He’s saying

Frankie appears to be missing both of her top canine teeth. It’s implied that Sparky pulls Frankie’s teeth out as punishment. Canine teeth are also called “fangs,” which means you could say Frankie has been defanged.

I watched ‘Heartbeeps’ because I saw Siskel & Ebert’s very negative review, which made it sound fascinatingly weird at minimum, and ended up falling in love with it.

Stray observation: I feel like the popularity of Wicked and Wednesday represent the cultural recognition of an increasingly violent and conformist social order that persecutes women in particular and equates difference with evil
