Tripped over my thoughts there a bit.

What I was trying to say was that considering his anti-Islam ideology, attacking Germans using a method that is very much associated with Islamic terrorism here is somewhat confusing. Especially since it seems his main issue was with Islam, not Germany per se.

The attacker’s ideology is kinda confusing.
He’s a Saudi national, ex-Muslim, anti-Islam activist, who lived in Germany for 18 years. On his Twitter he showed support for the far right German party AfD.

It seems like he was angry at Germany for facilitating the spreading of Islam in Europe.

On that other site, they are currently bending over backwards trying to come up with ways to still blame Muslims.

They came up with a lovely Kafka trap. Apparently he must’ve just lied about being an ex-Muslim, anti-Islam activist for like 14 years, because they desperately want him to be Muslim.
