Out of curiosity, any idea where on the line it would fall if one were to deliver the raw file in CSP/PSD/whatever format your drawing program uses alongside the finished image, and consolidate all the censorship on a single layer, so that the customer would be able to remove it themselves?

They end up in a mess that requires all of their competences to get out of, and the respect and eventually love that grows from that is a tale on its own. The second half takes them to Aral's homeworld, a recently rediscovered lost colony in the throes of a succession crisis, and the resulting mess.

He ends up saving a crippled ANGEL - an AI piloted, unarmed humanitarian aid frame in a spectacular fashion. The rescue and resulting attention lead to a deep look at what it means to be a person, as well as things such as the risks and potential of true AI.

At 14 main line novels, with 2 side 4-book series, the epic tale can drag, particularly if you're not fond of the math and scales that're inherent in things like hard sci fi combat scenes, but if it clicks, it's worth the time.

2: On Basilisk Station - David Weber - Book 1
Take the Age of Sail tale of a competent sailor rising through the ranks with integrity, move it to the scale of the galaxy, and stretch it into an epic of intrigue, conflict, and war, and you've got the roughest of sketches of Weber's Honorverse novels.
