Tell you what Jack even though I prefer watching RDS, Amazon does NHL broadcasts much better than Sportsnet, I know that is a very low bar to clear. At the very least you won't see Ron MacLame.....

I will rather this team play Dobes and Fowler the rest of the season so that they get experience rather than wasting time on Monty as he will be long gone when the team becomes contenders.

I was thinking the same thing. That year the Habs made the playoffs only because Gainey finally realized he cannot no longer put Theo in nets and started Huet instead.

At least Dobes still has a lot of room to improve, Monty has already hit his ceiling as a goaltender.

Sending Bolduc down to Laval will put him on notice that he cannot take his spot in the lineup for granted. Marty might have already benched him if not for all the injuries.

Totally agree with you about Bolduc. He spent too many games being invisible, not a good sign when you are already not scoring points. Same with Dobes, at the moment his play is the worst of the three, but at the same time he is winning games also. Talk about a dilemma.

That 2022 entry draft getting Slaf and Hutson is the turning point of the franchise. Similar to Dallas getting Heiskanen, Oettinger and Robertson in one draft class a few years back.

Only way to get players to change their behavior is to hit them hard in the pocketbook, $10, $15, $20K fines for cheap hits like this one, like what the NFL does handing out weekly fines for dangerous and cheap hits.
