I've thought a lot about the film 'The Death of Stalin' lately. In 2017 it felt like a hilarious yet chilling warning sign of history repeating, but now that history has done just so, it has morphed into a live webcam capturing Trump's cabinet of thin-skinned, spineless stooges with eerie precision.

As my kids step up to the doorstep of two, I've come to realize that Phantom Thread is really just a flick about toddlers working it out, played by Oscar-winning actors. The only thing missing is Ms. Rachel's "Big Feelings" song.
