I think it might be difficult to change the course of the tech industry at this point as they have invested many billions of dollars, and will not remove it before getting what they believe

So the point is to change the tech industries insistence on putting "AI" into everything? It would be difficult from an institution level unless they switch over to say Linux to have greater control over what is included. My degree is in electrical/computer engineering and I took some classes
