Fighting for privacy and surveillance transparency in Colorado

NEW: Ring has introduced "Search Party", a horrifyingly dystopian feature nominally designed to turn all of the Ring cameras in a neighborhood into a dragnet that uses AI to look for, in their commercial, a cute lost dog.

With Ring, US consumers are actually building a surveillance dragnet.

Colorado has NO state law limiting how long police can store your license plate data or who they share it with.

Washington just passed ALPR regulations. Mountain View just suspended Flock over data abuse.

When will Colorado act? eyesoffcolorado.org #EyesOffColorado #ALPR

Denver is racing to codify Flock safeguards before March.

Cities nationwide are canceling Flock contracts entirely.

Mountain View CA caught Flock sharing plate data with feds without consent. Local oversight works.

Momentum is building for March 7th 🔥

Organizers stepping up across the Front Range — Denver, Boulder, even Cañon City. Media is starting to notice.

Colorado's 4th Amendment rights shouldn't be quietly surveilled away. Spread the word.

The HaveIBeenFlocked.com database is a tiny fraction of Flock Safety queries that have been leaked or released via FOIA requests. You can be tracked for attending a protest, lawfully getting an abortion, or because a random account said something about you on social media.

Two Colorado cities abandon Flock oversight
Denver operates Flock cameras without a finalized contract. Boulder admits it won't audit search logs. Colorado's open records laws make oversight nearly impossible.
