Yup- I totally agree with you & should have gotten rid of the whole private profit (or even just private) prison thing. Also I have issues with many contractors training our military on how to fly - WTF are they doing in the military? Geez, my Dad learned to fly from The Air Force, no other.

The Cash For Kids scandal.... That moment should have shown that private prisons provide too perverse of incentives. The fact it did not change after Judges, people with lots of power in our society, were caught locking up teenagers, people with next to no power.

Yup- currently am reading Virginia G's memoir. She and many of them were so abused beforehand which Epstein took advantage of , others came from troubled homes & shaky financial backgrounds- just ripe for his abuse. He threatened them with harm etc.
