It lead to some great inter character situations. That player was amazing to play with.

One of the last times I ran him I kept a ledger of things and how he dealt with them. I could go on all day. The best run I had he and an orcish blacksmith follower of a light god bonded. Like siblings. She eventually caughthim reverse pickpocket diamonds into her component pouch.

Once they aged out they could get placed in lucrative jobs or keep out at living as ba dots, standard thieves, etc. From this background every thing that is done to or for him in a positive sense (buy a meal, heal, resurrect) to varying degrees requires repayment.

I'm so glad Mav made an appearance! He's one of my most enjoyable characters to play! Rogue, grew up in an orphanage where they ran a child thieving ring out of. Told the kids they had to do jobs to pay for the medicine, food and shelter.

I've been fortunate to meet him through @najarianart.bsky.social when helping him at #ECCC. Both are great folks and awesome artists. It's afforded me the opportunity to meet other cool peeps in person like

Are we sure that's accurate? Like what if they stay on or in federal property there? Is that like a loop hole that they could used to avoid saying they're there to protect it? I haven't done a dive on the topic yet.

My oldest had a smile a mile wide when we opened them and my middle son I imagine will do the same when he gets back from his play practice...
