Atlanta born and raised underground artist: Avant-garde filmmaker, noise artist, comic author, collage artist, obscure media aficionado. https://linktr.ee/eyeodyssey
I was born just a few minutes before the midnight leading from the 2nd of December to the 3rd. If you're awake at such an hour and happen to see this, welcome to the birthday purgatory zone.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see Intravenus' premiere. I'm still kind of in disbelief of how everything worked out. It's one thing to make the film in your creative space, it's another to see people get involved with the final outcome when it's being performed.

If you're around the Atlanta area, I hope you come to the screening as it really is an experience made for the theatric space with its incredible acting and style of filming and sound design. I can't emphasize enough the talent our actors brought to the film.

While I don't know a thing about promotion, I do know my love for the lost art of lobby cards, so in preparation I did this set of cards built up from numerous production stills.

With the screening being just a day away now, here is the complete set of lobby cards I designed to promote the Buried Alive Film Festival premiere of Intravenus at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta, GA.

A newly edited trailer from my upcoming horror film, Intravenus.
This one's got more footage from the movie, including the video synth goodness that's typical to my stuff now. The movie will be premiering this Friday at 7PM as a part of the Buried Alive Film Festival at @plazaatlanta.bsky.social.

If there's one thing our crew and cast made certain of, it's a one of a kind film and not something you'd want to miss: Anatomical Venuses, industrial noise, phrenological black comedy, ghosts of the Futurist movement in a nightmarish present day and more...

Exciting bit of news today: I'm happy to announce that Intravenus will be having its first public showing this upcoming November with the 2025 Buried Alive Film Festival in Atlanta, GA. More news will be coming very soon about the date it will be shown and where you can get your tickets.

(Epilepsy warning)
Yesterday I edited the trailer for my newest micro-budget film project, Intravenus. Aside from sending out private screener copies, I'm currently planning possible ways to have the film shown.

With Intravenus' recent completion back on the 12th, now is as good a time as ever to reveal its three primary poster deigns. The first and third versions were designed by me while the second was painted by @idyllopus.bsky.social. More info on the finalized movie is to come soon.

Production on The God Machine continues at the same time as Intravenus. My current plan is to have both films completed around the same time, likely following Intravenus directly with The God Machine.

I can't emphasize enough how essential the talent of the actors and crew who volunteered was to giving the film its final personality. Fully knowing the minimal resources they committed themselves to the film, giving a surrealistic script a level of human realism.

The two days saw the wrapping of a large majority of the cast alongside the introduction of a new character. Most of the time since filming has been spent on editing and animating for The God Machine. Only two cutaway shoots are left later this month before the film officially wraps production.
June 19, 2025 at 10:51 PM
The 26th and 28th of June were the final days of scripted principal photography for Intravenus. These filming days counted for a large part of the movie's closing segment alongside the first of a set of cutaways that provide further context to the film's scenario.

Filming involved nonsensical phrenological exams, morbid anatomical projections, more mannequin puppetry, and a full table of Futurist-inspired cuisine served with a side of slight regret.

Amidst the activity of production, the 23rd also sadly marked the last day of production for Brice Heller and makeup artist and production worker Zia, both were involved with the production since its first day and will be missed on the last few days of shooting.

Filming on Intravenus continues. The 21st and 23rd marked two of the three ensemble cast days in filming, tackling a majority of the film’s first act and a sequence for the second act. Alongside returning faces we also see the arrival of the last two primary characters, Rudolph and Comet.

This day and the future filming days will highlight the film's underground theater influences, crossing very serious and at certain points deeply discomforting moments with bits of surrealism and absurdism.

One of the scenes of note was Hermey's Chemical Reaction monologue. Functioning as a somnambulist for most of the film, he briefly 'awakens' to give a grotesquely Artaudian dialogue about the biological nature of his obsessions (my attempt at doing a variant of the theater of cruelty in film form).

Filming on Intravenus continues.
March concluded on an intensely active note with our third day of principal photography, four scenes were tackled, three of which featured dialogue that was as intense thematically as it was in length and detail. Editing of the scenes has been ongoing since shooting.

A photo spread of backstage stills from the original 1984 premiere of the Tokyo Grand Guignol’s Mercuro as it was printed in the rare subculture magazine ZOAR, extracted from an interview the magazine featured between Suehiro Maruo and Norimizu Ameya. Digitized by yours truly.

Screencaps from the recently shot moonlight sequence from Intravenus. Each scene in the film is significant, but the moonlight segment stands out as the sort of seed of the film since the whole basis formed around a dream I had several years back, said dream serves as the basis for this scene.

Over 7 minutes of sequencing has already been edited for my newest film project, Intravenus. In one sequence alone, there are an assortment of stylistic jumps from a 70s film-inspired aesthetic to monochrome sequences that reference Dr. Caligari and Eraserhead in visual texture.
