I’m not saying your frustration is completely unjustified, just that it should be directed at the ones who deserve it. We don’t have 2 parties that are in agreement on helping the American people. We have one. Sucks but that’s what we got, and when they have power they at least try.

Neither do I. I don’t expect to change your mind in a couple skeets, I would just encourage you to interrogate your sources a bit more going forward. The Trump era has pushed a lotta people into misinformation and all it’s doing is encouraging people to give up and let them win harder.

If you are mad at the government as a whole, then fine. But the reality of govt is that these things take time to fix. Even if we had all three branches, this is a country of 300 million people. It doesn’t happen overnight. But you can’t criticize the Dems for shit they didn’t do wrong, that’s crazy

You are comparing apples to oranges. You can’t criticize the democrats for not accomplishing something that was LITERALLY blocked by republicans. Your whole beef so far is that the Dems aren’t doing what’s in their power and then I show you they did and the goalpost moves.

This is EXACTLY what I’m talking about when I say they did what people wanted them to do and then still get criticized for not doing it. They impeached Trump TWICE. Literally did everything in their power to do & the republicans protected him but somehow it’s their fault

When Biden was president, there was a “Biden refuses to cancel student loan debt” tweet EVERY WEEK with hundreds of thousands of likes despite the fact that he DID do it and the Supreme Court overturned it. Then he did it in pieces anyway and people still said he didn’t

People lack confidence in their own party because the biggest public voices supposedly on their side spend more time criticizing them than their ideological opponents. Look at every major leftist account. It’s constantly attacking Dems and not republicans. I can pull dozens of examples right now

Jeffries speech isn’t about policy, it’s about optics and engagement. Which things do they make the biggest deals about in the press because other than oppose with votes, which they DO, they don’t have any other power currently

They did do something to try to protect democracy. The entire latter half of Kamala’s campaign was basically “help me protect democracy.” I don’t know what you expect them to actually do currently when they are the minority in both houses and don’t control the presidency

I’m not sure what you mean. We just traded elections and Biden lost because of Covid blowback (like almost every incumbent in the world the last 2 years).
If Trump had won in 2020, things would look completely diff. And they can’t do more. They don’t control a chamber, hence needing to win midterms
