Yep agreed, we’ve had it with our ANSP for the last 25 years. Years ago lots of controllers were going to go as long as they could to get their full pensions, now the same people are saying that they will be gone at the earliest they can leave.

Yep and our bosses want to remove the inducement in January for working our arses off to cover the holes they have made.

Is this because of the shutdown, controllers not covering OT due to none payment ? Why is now showing management/public what happens when there is not enough bums on seats.

I would not hesitate in taking an EV for a 2000km European road trip. I wouldn’t hesitate in suggesting doing so to anyone else with an EV. In fairness I was less tired driving an EV and ho ho ho the power, oh man the power. Up hill acceleration overtaking trucks versus ICE cars is 😃

Prepping the car for tomorrow. Load up the battery now and I can just blast straight through an entire country (Belgium)without even stopping.

I have an 8hr (634km) drive tomorrow. I can choose between 1-2-3-4 charging stops. The plan will be to do 1 enroute charge and 1 more just before the hotel to have battery for our 2 day stay, it may even be enough to get us home 🤷🏻♂️. I could charge on the ferry overnight as well.
