I read that the might be a flag I could switch to stop it, but apparently they removed the ability to control flags in the mobile version 🤦

The last time I tried Firefox, I decided to use it on mobile to read news articles because I could install adblocker on it.
However, it kept unloading webpages when i switched apps, which was a real pain point when commuting in trains with bad cellular coverage.

The different UUID versions have different pros and cons.
UUID 7 has specific advantages relating to databases primary keys.
So if you don't need it you can continue using v4
