Imagine if this wasn’t Cuomo (whose current campaign is incompetent) or if this wasn’t such a highly scrutinized race, and it was a slightly more subtle and realistic video. That’s our political future. And it’s terrifying (especially given where we are presently).

Also, they didn’t post & delete it because they want it to be gone. They did it as a strategy—more people will search it up (using inflammatory terms next to Mamdani’s name so those searches to become “suggested”) & it leverages the pull of forbidden fruit (eg “they don’t want you to see this!”)
