Ok, you've convinced me to give it a shot. I generally really dislike Courtney, and the trailer made it seem like his performance would be nails-on-a-chalkboard for me. But I'll give it a shot.

Throughout, I had them identify indicators of fascism. They got and liked Animal Farm, but Toy Story 3 drove it home even more clearly. 2/2

The 8th grade Lit class I teach has a theme of corruption of power, oppression, societal and mob mentality (Animal Farm, The Giver, Lindsay's if the Flies, Holocaust unit). When discussing Animal Farm and fascism, one of my students brought up Lotso. I said screw it, and we watched it in class. 1/2
