Gaussfest, and an electrical day in London on the 7th September picture shows The London Museum of Water and Steam (Brentford) with a large tesla coil spraying electrical arcs 2-3M with Victorian pumping engines around and a crowd of people watching. I can't think of a better day out :)

A Dirod machine, 24 aluminium rods in a drum with read rubber end caps in a frame of acrylic, with two green discharge rods leading to 25mm balls. with a geared motor to the right hand side.

Making a new tesla coil for Notts Gaussfest.

PWM SSTC peak power 1.5Kw

Pi pico driver at RF directly from the Pico.

Plays wav files from SD card.

Only 200mm sparks, but they are HOT :)
Tesla coil driver left to right. Black fan. Large black heat sink with a pcb and 4 transistors Primary coil 15 turns of enamelled copper wire and the base of the secondary coil. Large blue electrical discharge copper ring and the tesla coil secondary Small draws a real of alu. Tape and a box of msc crp. In the background.
