Last Sunday, I planned to relax, rest my back, and recharge spiritually. But things didn’t go as planned. I gave in to my guilty pleasure again and ended up working on content creation instead of fully unwinding.

One the tedious parts of mapmaking is labeling!
Anyway for this next preview of my 1600s Dutch-style map, I’ve differentiated the colors of the continents, added way more labels, and added cityscapes of New York, Tokyo, Rio, and Cape Town. It’s looking pretty good, I think. ❤️🗺️

One of the things I hate about myself is how easily I give in to my guilty pleasures. They always get in the way of my productivity and slow down my progress toward my goals. Take this morning, for example.

That content I just published? It’s about 100,000 to 120,000 words across 24 blog posts. I hope it reaches the people who need it soon. That’s probably what every content creator wishes for when they put their work online.

Now it’s getting hot again in tropical countries just north of the equator, like the Philippines.
I’ll definitely miss writing here since it’ll be either too hot or too rainy for the next ten months.
It always makes me think about how lucky people in temperate regions are.

Aesthetics and visuals are where I really shine. I always make sure that whatever I create looks as good as it possibly can with the tools I have. That’s probably why it’s taking me a little longer to edit the photos for these posts I’m migrating.

As a content creator, how do you spend your weekends? Me? I don’t follow the days of the week. I work when I can and rest when I need to. This past Saturday and Sunday was a typical mix of both, though I spent more time with my family overall.
