The exhibition debuted at NMMA in 2024 as the result of a partnership with INAH that built on the discovery of two sculptures of La Joven de Amajac in Veracruz. 130+ artifacts, dating back to 1450 BCE, are featured and they highlight women in the Mesoamerican cultural region of the Huasteca.
