Not just Bangkok, it's been awful in Vietnam too, especially Hanoi which is now routinely rated in top most polluted cities in the world.

I certainly.wouldn't associate Vietnam and World Class Healthcare. Source = I've lived here for 13 years and have worked in expat health/life insurance. It's getting better though and yes a fraction of the cost of the USA whose system is broken.
