Nearly 34,000 immigrants to be ordered to leave Portugal
South Asians top the list of immigrants who may have to leave the country after their residency applications were denied by AIMA. Nearly two out of every ten cases reviewed were rejected.

A question I get asked a lot on Reddit regarding the D8 Digital Nomad Visa:
Can I be an #expat W-2 employee for a US company working remotely in #Portugal.
The answer is complex. Technically, yes you can but, and oh boy is it a big but, your company must register as a corporate entity

Being an #expat has been a dream come true, life outside of the US is so so different. I love how laid back everyone is no rush to be anywhere or do anything, even in #Lisbon. In Chicago everyone was always in a rush. A bit of an adjustment period to get used to everyone/everything being late though

Did you know the #Portugal long term #D8 Visa offers a pathway to Portuguese citizenship? It’s one of the few #DigitalNomad Visas that can lead to citizenship. And Portugal allows dual citizenship with the US.

The beautiful Rua Augusta in #Lisbon. Always one of my favorite streets to visit in #Portugal. Lots of shops and restaurants and gorgeous tile, as usual. Love the #ruaaugustaarch in the background.
