White’s tree frogs have golden eyes and are one of the few tree frog species who have horizontal pupils. They also have a prominent ridge of fat over each eye called the supratympanal ridge, which makes them look sleepy. #AnimalOfTheMonth 4/4

The backs of White’s tree frogs can be a green, blueish-green or olive. Gold or white spots are scattered along their sides and can sometimes appear on their backs. #AnimalOfTheMonth 2/4

In 1943, the founder of the UK-charity People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA), Maria Dickin, created the #DickinMedal for animals who have served in war. The Dickin Medal is the animal equivalent of the Victoria Cross medal for outstanding acts of bravery. 3/5
