He has certainly taken a while to get up to speed and there's an argument to be had around how preseason may have had an impact on that (and the whole squad tbf). But yes, it's hugely beneficial for us as a club that he's not involved as it reduces injury risk.

I don't think changing the coach will help tbh. Whilst I think Cleverley deserves criticism, the recruitment simply hasn't been good enough. If TC is relieved, not only will Argyle start to get a reputation (5 coaches in 3 years), but is another coach really going to get much more out of the squad?

100% this! At first, I was convinced TC simply wasn't playing the correct formation for the players at his disposal. After the shift to a back 3 welcomed a brief upturn in form, I thought that, maybe, we'd kick on. Apparently not. The last 3 games have been lackluster to say the least

If he was that unhappy, why did he start him? Seems daft considering he was taken off due to an injury against South Korea during the international break.
