It's #WorldDiabetesDay! Did you know that exergames can mislead diabetic patients about exercise intensity? We showed that RPE, a 1-10 scale of effort, helps adjust activity, but it may not reflect true effort in exergames.

Good to see this important paper on exercise prescription for type-1 diabetics published @AmJCardio.
If patients are not doing exercise regularly:
♂️ If blood sugar is already low, start with "interval" training . If not, go for "continuous."
♀️ Can start with either.
