Potters throw and fire their own coffee mugs, then chill with other patrons about their own creative methods and gain inspiration while they make their mug to drink from. Like a pizza joint where you toss and make your own pizza in a brick oven. This idea would only work if quick firing clay exists.

For me it’s about the existential idea that myself or who my loved ones are will be forgotten after they are gone; just a name on a census record, erased. Always keep Basket and those you know or have been a part of your life alive and at play in our hearts.

It’s hard to get out of severe depression, medication is a just a band aid in my opinion. I hope a pleasant surprise or turnaround happens in your life that changes the momentum.

You can have the opposite problem when creating art; you think it’s utterly perfect and have nothing but high expectations, then it is ignored because its only speaks to yourself and not others. Have the courage to be vulnerable in what you create, the works of others involved those feelings.
