All Booker did was spout empty words for 25 hours. I'd respect him if he actually took a stand and did something of substance, like revoke unanimous consent and stalled out the Trump minions.

The one thing that all of this proves to me is that they really do believe they're righteous. The prayer stuff, in private, isn't the cynical performative garbage I thought it was; they're callous, evil, and perpetual fuck-ups, but at least a few of them really do think they're on the side of God.

Democratic politicians think they need to push right because their donors are all centrists, and if you don't make the donors happy they give their money to someone else and you don't get elected. Citizens United is the most influential SCOTUS ruling ever and it's only going to get worse.
