I haaaate being in upstate SC, but if I’m here, I’m gonna have my favorite meal ever - a simple large bowl of yellow rice and grilled chicken from Tropical Grille that I smother in their jalapeño sauce, with a little garlic cilantro sauce for good measure. This mint green sauce is life changing. 🤤

Had some time to kill before our flight back to MCO, so we went to check out American Dream for the first time. What an awesome place. Got to visit Toys R Us, and Nick Universe is so well done. Would’ve stopped to pick up two coaster credits, but their big boys were closed. 🤦♂️ Gotta come back soon

Had some time to kill before our flight back to MCO, so we went to check out American Dream for the first time. What an awesome place. Got to visit Toys R Us, and Nick Universe is so well done. Would’ve stopped to pick up two coaster credits, but their big boys were closed. 🤦♂️ Gotta come back soon
On our way back to the hotel last night, we ended up running into a bunch of people waiting outside Idina Menzel’s new Broadway show. I saw the black SUV waiting outside the door and knew they were waiting for her. We waited a few minutes and sure enough got to see her come out!

Visited Hook & Ladder 8 while snow fell 😍 Also made a pit stop at the Manhattan Museum of Art, wanted to see that Vigo the Carpathian exhibition! 🤪

We did the Tour at NBC Studios, which was awesome. Only pic we could take was of our feet in the elevators. 🤣 Got to visit the Late Night and Tonight Show studios. Unfortunately, 8H was inaccessible due to SNL 50 next week. But I was amazed how much of the interior was replicated in Florida!

First stop was Sal Kris & Charlie’s Deli near LGA for lunch. What a freaking awesome sandwich this was. Couldn’t even finish it!

Had a team lunch at Vida Covina & Tequila in Altamonte and it was actually great? Beautiful inside (first pic not mine lol) and great menu/lunch specials. Got to come back for dinner sometime soon

This popped up in today’s memories - the Florida Gators National Championship Celebration, which was held at Universal Studios Florida 16 years ago today. Is this sort of lost history? I searched and found exactly one YT video of it and just a handful of articles. 🤔 It was a great time!

We got to ride Tiana’s for the first time because VQ was still available just over an hour before park close.
The final scene is great. The rest… ehhhhh. Too much dead space. I’ll ride again when there’s no wait. 🤷♂️ There wasn’t a soul outside of load when we went in btw. VQ needs the boot here.
