As usual, the outrage from the GOP is disingenuous

No, really! Hear me out

1. Republican voters don't really care what you do as long as you say republican things

2. We've already seen that a 'strong' man can co-opt their machine and use it for their own devices

3. The Democratic party won't admit that it's beholden to big money interests

For me it's just the name. Saying "egg nog" out loud sounds like I should be expectorating something that looks like egg nog

Getting waves of nostalgia from your picture. Cats and quilts, I dare you to name a better combo

Any hour where you're eating pastries is a happy hour

Degrees of rich. If the Walton family gave up we could replace the 4600 Wal-Mart locations with 25,000 local grocery, hardware, general goods, and pharmacy locations. Wouldn't that be grand?

If the richest of the rich work less hard to make money, doesn't that create opportunity for everyone else?
December 13, 2024 at 11:37 PM
Besides the 37 cents? People don't become billionaires without an overabundance of greed. If there's money to be made, someone will find a way to make it.

Like... I'm not AGAINST the violent parts of the labor movement.

Nonviolent protest has been held up as the standard my entire life, and yet has been ineffective my entire life. Makes me wonder what's missing from the secret sauce.

And how things would be different if we hadn't all been misled

Curious to see how you make the violent parts palatable to children

When Social Security was established in 1935 the tax rate for the wealthiest Americans was 63%. CEO's are making 296 times what the average worker makes. We could afford to keep benefits, even improve them, if the rich would pay their fair share
