All the green, red, AND toxic flags associated with an obsessive person? Gu Hai has thought, said, and done it all. And the only reason the ship works is bc his shou matches his freak and is just as addicted/obsessed with him but in a more covert way.

This film was breaking and repairing my heart simultaneously and it felt devastating but also so great. I've read the original book by Mary Shelley in HS so I know all the source deviation but my sentimental side doesn't care. Watching this movie made me FEEL and that's all that matters.
