not much since last time. mainly doing bug fixing and awaiting some updates to trainwork mod tools to complete the monster train 2 mod

Well, one day late because of easter, but with a great push for my mod! I figured out equipment cards as i write this post! Now, to push one step closer to remaking the sweetkins in monster train 2!

The people in charge of trainwork got more work done on getting custom assets in. Nice to see my sweetkin assets back in again, even if it isn't perfect!

late-ish post? The Sweetkins are now officially back on track for #MonsterTrain2. :D the clan is not complete yet, but at very least we got one champion making a return in the sequel!

This time, I did some Room art for this sidetracking project. The mosaic in the background was done by hand years ago. I just found it proper tp reuse it with some touch ups. TLDR, don't do mosaics unless you got SERIOUS time to waste lol

#monstertrain2 Procrasti-working with mod art for monster train 2. Quite nice to raw with only myself to compare to. My game project might just be halted but at least i get to maybe make fan-content for a franchise i love.

Prototyping is going smoothly! Got curved shots and shockwaves implemented. Also got a draft of how to present my ingame characters ready to smash into each others. AND i got my music piece from Rowan for the main deckbuilding/team building scene. I am happy.

Lil mod project completed! Not gonna release my mod yet unto the steam workshop, but i feel really good about having revived Ambrosia's mod for slay the spire. She is a cornerstone of why i game dev in the first place. Art on the left: lineart by Golbiey and coloring by me.

Not sure if the preview will work, i was a tiny bit aimless, needing to just have a quick win on a small side project. A friend sent me back to slay the spire and i am just reviving a project that kinda landed me into game dev that i had never finished, nor published.

Good news, Dialogic has been learned. At very least, i know how to make it function. That and i started messing with panel nodes so i could make my stuff look like an actual game.

One productive week-end, cards can now display basic descriptions for all my effects (including features that might not make the cut) and i got the start of a satisfying setup for how to present my actual gameplay. fingers crossed that i get prototype up by the end of december!

Bit late! so, deck building system can generate cards and i can filter them based on their name. It aint much yet, moving toward deck building and saving these before i move to my next step: making a game that actually uses said decks.

No real game dev effort. mostly relaxed this week. I spent one day just making some data infrastructure for cards. Should move my ass a little in between beastieball sessions :)

Last ember is about to reach its reduced scope goal. Quite nice since I still got a month to polish and add some content of the full scope. #gamedev #godot Just 2 worlds and this long winded idea of mine will exist.
