You just know Hitler would threaten a scientist’s family to force them into the Nazi regime

It’s for the same reason that I don’t hold the repressed and oppressed Russian people being responsible for Putin‘s actions

I would imagine that most scientists would be intelligent enough not to want to be a Nazi, but to survive had to succumb to the repression, forcing them to become part of it

I have never heard about a Nazi scientist signing up to be a Nazi scientist
