Would love to see this.
Rooted in the filmmaker Agnès Varda’s early photography, a new exhibit at Musée Carnavalet “illuminates with intensity, clarity, and delight the singular nature of her achievements—in movies and outside of them,” @tnyfrontrow.bsky.social writes.

Uh huh.
The question of if a country could fuck itself harder than the UK did with Brexit has today been answered.

A new type of vaccine based on mRNA technology is seen by many as a potential breakthrough in the fight against cancer.

We sat down with oncologist Lennard Lee to discuss why he hopes these vaccines will prove to be the “silver lining of the pandemic.”

Musk is a lackey who gave Trump millions. They’re loyalty bros. As long as that stands, the rest of just have pockets to pick.
Trump is STILL - RIGHT NOW - tweeting about Tesla. He's spent more time protecting the richest man in the world's profits than he has protecting healthcare, education, jobs, or veterans in the last 6 weeks as president.

Yes we do.
LA Fire Cat Found---Katherine Kiefer is reunited with her Maine Coon cat, Aggie. After being missing for two months and thought to be dead, Aggie was found at an LA shelter. Whew, we all need a story like this right now.

Someone needs to explain to our Sec of Commerce how capitalism works.

America has a GLOBAL TRADE SURPLUS on services. Services have the highest margins and profits of our exports. That is where capital and expertise focused.

It is why we dominate in tech globally.

It goes to show that none of this is about efficiency or saving money.
More receipts on the DOGE “receipts.”
The DOGE site added almost 1,200 new "receipts" Tuesday that claim to show another $4bn in savings.

But when NPR matched the claims to federal contracting data, the savings were essentially unchanged from our analysis of initial data, now about $2.3bn.

The bust of Sir Winston Churchill sits in Trump's Oval Office. He was an immensely brave leader who visited Washington, dressed in fatigues, seeking support against a despot. We all know what he would have made of today's unedifying spectacle and whose side he would have been on.

The CFPB is one of the American people’s best defenses against waste, fraud, and abuse.

Demolishing it will, of course, lead to more waste, fraud, and abuse.

This is EXACTLY what we need. Pete needs to have a spot on every news show with updates.
Incompetence in Washington puts every American at risk, no matter how you voted. No one should be happy that the DOGE team - the same folks who randomly published classified U.S. security information online today - wants access to your bank account & Social Security numbers.

Elon Musk to reporter: “We post our actions to the DOGE website. All of our actions are maximally transparent. I don’t know of a case where an organization has been more transparent than the DOGE organization.”

We can’t say this enough: When people in Trump‘s orbit deliberately lie about how our constitutional democracy works, they violate the oaths they take to uphold the law. & they violate the trust the American people place in them.
