Well, after reading the story of this restaurant as well as the meny I’d say the Swedishness is quite diluted by now. But it’s probably still delicious and perfectly suited to the target audience!

The fancy cafés do the braided buns, both with cardamom and cinnamon! If you do decide to bake kanelbullar at home, no matter what recipe, you have to double the filling. Every Swede knows this. 😄 And you can still get those Tutti Frutti candy boxes should you get the craving!

I, a Swede, am appalled by this monstrosity you call a cinnamon roll.
