My only complaint about the WA program is the paycheck deduction changes by $0.01 every other paycheck, making me go back and fix my automatic transactions manually. Small price to pay for the program, I guess.

The incredibly arduous and almost certainly struck-down-by-courts way for that to happen is for states to demand businesses operating in that state remit *all* tax payments to the state, who would then forward them to the feds (or not), while indemnifying those businesses and individuals.

It's fun to realize that the idea of a lifetime appointment is really just made up and people decided that "shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour," means "lifetime appointment."
The next (D) President should just remove the corrupt ones and make them prove they were good boys and girls.

It goes beyond coding. He had unfettered physical access to these systems. They -- and the buildings they are in -- cannot be considered secure any longer.

For what it's worth, a passport may be issued to "A qualifying U.S. non-citizen national," or, not even a passport proves citizenship. Though it is often a very good measure of legal status to be in the US... exactly like a REAL ID.
